The King's Head is one of the 'great mix' pubs where you get a young and lively vibe, mixed with a traditional looking good old fashioned pub. There is a great mix of age groups, with no one feeling out of place. Its great for settling down for a night long session, or as a starting point before heading down town (its location makes it ideal as it is the first/last pub in town). The outside areaa is so great in the summer and I beleive they host some great Beer festivals too. The food is also good. The only draw back is the steep hill to get there.
I make a point of going to the Kings Head every time I get to Llandudno. It is a really busy and friendly pub with the added benefit of a log fire in the winter. There is a restaurant, but I haven't eaten there fo so I can't pass comment on the food. It's set away from the town centre and so attracts a slightly more "mature" crowd than other places.
