• Not the best in the area

  Since having won the award for best Indian Restaurant in Wales a couple of years ago, standards definately dropped. I have eaten takeaways from here on several occasions, and have been disappointed on more than one occasion. There is nothing on the menu that sets Sopna apart from it's competitors. The last time I ordered from here I was told to fetch my food in an hour, I was left standing for an additional hour in the restaurant - this is not acceptable IMHO! There are several better restaurants within 15 mins drive from here.

  Sopna is not the most convenient place to have an Indian Resteraunt.Its not in a town or a village its juts on a busy road in-between Rhosbodryal, caernarfon and Llanrug.Sopna is an award winning resteraunt.I thinks it was voted best in Wales a couple years back. It’s not my local Indian but I go there if I fancy a change.It’s a restaurant and a takeaway. I have never sat inside the restaurant and had food but takeaway food is fine. Best to ring ahead to avoid waiting time. Reasonable priced food.Big car park for the restaurant so no need to worry bout where your putting the car. Would advice you to give it a go.6/10
