Warning - Devils of motorcycle mail order

Warning - this company misdescribed an item for sale, did not honour their agreement to make a refund and are still selling the misdescribed item one month later - that should tell you what you need to know about this company. If you get what you ordered through the post then that's great, if you don't then say goodbye to your money - I am not the only person this has happened to. PayPal have opened an investigation into this company today. If your'e a biker then please decide for yourself if you want to do business with a company that treats fellow bikers like this..... I bought two pairs of brake pads @ £35.98 from BikeDevils advertised as fitting my BMW K1200LT model for years 1997-2010. When they arrived I could see they were a completely different shaped pad to the ones I removed - it turns out these type only fit 1997-1999. I had not taken the new pads out of their packaging and arranged to return them for a refund. I asked for my postage cost for tracking the return to be refunded. They refused and told me I just needed to send them back with proof of postage 2nd class for no more than £3 and they would make a full refund. You may have guessed the outcome - they simply told me the pads must have been 'lost' in the post. Even though my sender address was clearly marked on the package they mysteriously didn't get returned to me when they were supposedly 'lost' on the their way to BikeDevils. So I lost my money even though I sent them the proof of postage they had asked for. Strange thing is that an eBay customer posted negative feedback on eBay for this company on 15/9 for exactly the same thing while I was trying to get my refund. BikeDevils are still mis-describing and knowingly selling these brake pads to unsuspecting riders who will have to return them for a refund as I did - why would they continue to do that? Perhaps a company naming itself BikeDevils would be just the right company to come up with such a devilish business model.
